During our wedding anniversary getaway, we were fortunate enough to stay at Bedford Lodge. the housekeeping was impeccable, and the breakfasts cooked by Gary were absolutely superb, offering a fantastic choice to set us up for the day. the lodge is set in its own south-facing, private gardens, with sloping lawns and mature trees, creating a peaceful oasis. the location was perfect, just a short stroll from the old village of Shanklin, where we found plenty of good places to eat and even enjoyed an evening at the traditional theatre. Gary and his partner truly made our stay unforgettable, with their warm hospitality and positive vibe. We spent a relaxing five days surrounded by the beautiful garden, taking in the peaceful atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back to this excellent place on the island. Thank you, Bedford Lodge, for a truly memorable experience.
